Bosch Rexroth Indradrive Cs is a compact multi-protocol drive system. The multiprotocol support system addresses the need for an open and seamless design. They are highly versatile compact drives with a power range from 100 W to 9 kW. They function with Ethernet-based communications such as SERCOS III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCat. These devices also function with conventional communications interfaces like PROFIBUS, giving maximum communications flexibility with minimal engineering effort. In addition, they are equipped with an innovative multi-encoder interface that supports all standard encoder types. These features make the Indradrive Cs the best choice for highly specialized drive operations.

The compact converters of the HCS series are part of the IndraDrive Cs product range and are used to operate Rexroth IndraDyn motors or third-party motors. The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-S5-NN-FW has a maximum current of 54 A and a mains connection voltage of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V. It functions with a BASIC UNIVERSAL control unit with a Multi-Ethernet interface. Its integrated safety technology is Safe Motion which prevents unintentional machine movements. This converter functions with firmware with a standard control panel. The firmware is ordered separately. The HCS model is also equipped with a multi-encoder interface for different encoder types.

The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-S5-NN-FW is designed to be mounted in a control cabinet. It has a protection rating of IP 20; hence, it is touch-proof and resistant to the entry of objects bigger than 12 mm. It, however, has no protection against liquids. This converter should be operated at an ambient temperature between 0°C to 40°C and relative humidity between 5% to 95%. Its appropriate setup height is 1000m above mean sea level.
