Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-NW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Installed between the plant power bus and an IndraDyn servo motor, it converts incoming three-phase energy into regulated output that manages torque, speed, and position loops in automated handling, packaging, and light machining stations where coordinated axis control is required. This controller accepts a mains window of 3 × AC 200–500 V ±10%, allowing operation on both low- and medium-voltage factory grids without tap changes.
During dynamic acceleration, the power stage can deliver a device peak current of 18 A, which is the highest motor current available before the drive’s electronic protection limits engage. Cabinet placement is simplified by an IP20 housing that guards against accidental contact with live parts while relying on the enclosure for added dust protection inside the cabinet. Thermal management is handled by integrated blower cooling, and the internal fan pulls air through the heat sink without external ducting. For network integration, the unit provides a MultiEthernet interface, allowing communication over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, or standard TCP/IP through the same port.
The power electronics are paired with a control section in the BASIC design class, supplying core motion functions for standard servo applications without optional safety or advanced technology packages. The assembly is design version 1, so its parameters and mechanical dimensions follow the first release of the HCS01 line. Feedback from the motor arrives through the primary Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 port, enabling high-resolution position control, while the secondary encoder slot and dedicated safety interface are left unpopulated to simplify wiring. DC bus energy is managed through infeeding and fed operation, allowing several drives to share regenerated power across a common bus during braking and deceleration.
