The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-DA-L4-NN-FW is one of the Bosch Rexroth HCS drive converters with a standard multi-encoder interface. As a result, it supports several standard encoders with supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V. Some of these encoders are the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the MS2N motor encoder, and the MSK motor encoder. It is equipped with a standard control panel, designed to be used as a programming module and has four operating keys for this purpose. Its single-line display shows operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings. The drive converter has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20, meaning that it will not admit solid external materials over 12mm.

With its compact size, the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-DA-L4-NN-FW can be installed within control cabinets where it is mounted per the G1 mounting position. As a result, its cooling is more efficient as natural convection supports forced air currents and prevents the generation of pockets of heat. This HCS model’s maximum current rating is 18A, while its ideal mains connecting voltage is a three-phase AC voltage between 200V and 500V. It is equipped with Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Brake Control (SBC) as its safety options. The allowed switching frequencies for the drive converter’s operation are 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.
