Many users of drive and motion control units recognize Bosch Rexroth as a competent supplier of efficient products for various applications. The company’s HCS drive converters are components of its state-of-the-art Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They are commonly used in handling and mounting systems, food processing and packaging machines, and the semiconductor industry.

The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW is an HCS drive converter model in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive drive system. It is cooled by an internal air cooling current within a control cabinet where it can be easily installed because of its compact build. Its designated mounting position within this control cabinet is G1, preventing the formation of potentially harmful heat pockets. The HCS drive converter is operated with a three-phase AC mains connection voltage ranging from 200V to 500V. It can accommodate a maximum current of 18A and switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. Its control sections are those in the BASIC range and it supports the use of firmware, but these must be ordered separately.

Typical encoders that are compatible with the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW include the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the MS2N motor encoder, the MSK motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1.
