It manages energy flow between the incoming mains supply and IndraDyn servo axes, supplying regulated torque and velocity for positioning tasks in compact assembly lines, pick-and-place stations, and packaging equipment. By combining power electronics and motion logic in one chassis, the unit reduces panel wiring and supports integrated motion control in industrial automation. Its compact format also makes it suitable for control cabinets where space is limited.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110–230 V with a tolerance of ±10% and can deliver up to 13 A of peak motor current during acceleration or short shock loads. Thermal losses are removed through internal air cooling driven by an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. The housing has an IP20 rating, which provides basic finger protection when the device is installed inside a ventilated cabinet. A MultiEthernet interface supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT for real-time exchange of setpoints and diagnostic data with the plant PLC. The integrated power supply supports infeeding and fed operation, so the controller can either supply or draw DC-bus energy within a multi-axis cabinet. The second feedback slot and the safety interface are not equipped, which suits axes that do not require redundant feedback or integrated safety functions.
