The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-S4-NN-FW is a sophisticated electrical converter manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to accurately control the operation of electrical motors by adjusting the current, voltage, and frequency of the electrical energy it sends to the motor through the power cable. This electrical converter is a compact device that features an housing unit that provides protection according to the IP20 protection class. Although this housing unit provides a complete protection from large foreign materials, for complete protection the converter should be integrated into an additional control cabinet that can provide a minimum protection that meets the IP54 protection class. Under ideal operating conditions, the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-S4-NN-FW electrical converter does not release any dangerous chemical substances. The application of this converter is relatively environmental friendly.

The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-S4-NN-FW electrical converter features a multi-ethernet master communication interface which controls the interaction between the converter and all other additional components used with it. The converter also features a multi-encoder interface that is perfect for most industrial motor encoder designs such as the HIPERFACE, SSI, BiSS, TTL, and the resolver encoder design. The converter also contains a digital hall sensor adaptor box which is compatible with the digital hall sensor common in industrial linear motors.

The maximum input current that can be used with the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-S4-NN-FW industrial converter is about 13 amperes.
