Bosch Rexroth created the compact HCS drive converters to provide maximum communications flexibility with multi-protocol support. The control units are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system built to solve automation challenges. These converters are also used in machine tools, general automation, handling and mounting systems, and printing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-FW is a drive converter model in the HCS series by Bosch Rexroth. Its encoder emulation interface facilitates the emulation of absolute value and incremental encoder signals, which are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. They are further evaluated by a control unit. It also has a multi-encoder interface, allowing its connection to standard encoder types with supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V.
