The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-S4-NN-FW is an HCS drive converter model with a maximum current rating of 13A. Designed for control sections in the BASIC range, it has two multi-encoder interfaces for encoders with supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V. Examples of these encoder systems are the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the MSM motor encoder, the MS2N motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1. The drive converter also has a Multi-Ethernet communication module with which it interacts with other system components. This makes its integration in Ethernet field bus systems like sercos III, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET IO, and EtherCAT possible.

Forced air cooling is the supported heat dissipation method in the HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-S4-NN-FW. Since it is mounted according to the G1 style within a control cabinet, natural convection can support the forced cooling air current and prevent the generation of pockets of heat. The HCS model has Safe Motion as its safety technology module. It is equipped with a standard control panel used to trigger commands and detect faults.
