Bosch Rexroth has a track record for manufacturing solutions for the motion and drive industry. One of these is the HCS drive converters which belong to the Indradrive Cs family. They are characterized by their compact design, multi-protocol support, multi-encoder interface, and wide range of power. These drive converters have a wide array of Ethernet-based communications interfaces and also have room for additional conditional modules like the PROFIBUS network.

The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-L4-NN-FW accommodates a maximum current of 6A and a mains connection voltage from 110 to 230 V. It supports ADVANCED control sections and has a sercos III interface. There is an additional communication option, the PROFIBUS network, which increases its communication range. This converter's safety technology module is Safe Torque Off with Safe Brake Control.  It has a multi-encoder interface, allowing users to select application-specific encoders. The compatible encoder types have supply voltages of 5V and 12V like the MSM, MS2N, and MSK motor encoders, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track.

An intelligent standard operating panel with a single-line display is featured in the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-L4-NN-FW. It shows real-time operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings. This converter has an Ingress Protection Rating of IP 20 according to EN 60529; hence, it is safe from the penetration of solid extrinsic objects over 12mm, meaning it is resistant to dust. It should be operated at an ambient temperature between 0°C to 40°C and relative humidity between 5% and 95%. Its appropriate setup height is 1,000m above mean sea level. This converter functions with firmware that is typically ordered as a separate subitem.
