Operating the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-NN-S4-NN-FW requires a three-phase AC mains voltage that ranges from 110V to 230V with a ±10% allowance. Its master communication is via the sercos III master, and it is used for ADVANCED control sections. This converter supports multiple standard encoders due to its multi-encoder interface. The compatible standard encoders include the sin-cos encoder with Hiperface, the MSM motor encoder, the MS2N motor encoder, and the sin-cos encoder with EnDat 2.1. It has a standard control panel with a single-line display and four keys.  This shows operating states, command and error diagnosis, and pending warnings in the device.

It has a protection rating of IP 20 which means that it is touch-proof and prevents the entry of solid extrinsic objects over 12mm. Its integrated safety technology module is Safe Motion, and this protects the machine operators while the drive converter is in motion.
