Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive Cs is a capable and compact multi-protocol drive system with several outstanding features. The HCS01 drive converter belongs to this family. These drive converters have a broad spectrum of Ethernet-based communications interfaces and function with conventional communications like the PROFIBUS network. Their extensive functionality is enhanced by their compatibility with multiple standard encoder types.

The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-E-S3-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a highly functional converter in the HCS series by Bosch Rexroth. It is designed to function with ECONOMY control units, and its control communication module is the sercos III module. The mains connection voltage for the HCS drive converter’s operation is a three-phase AC voltage that ranges from 200V to 500V. Due to its compact construction, it has to be mounted in a control cabinet, and it is cooled by the internal air within the cabinet. Its safety technology is Safe Torque Off, an emergency stop safety function, and it supports firmware use.

Standard encoder systems can be connected to the HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-E-S3-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW because of its multi-encoder interface for encoder systems with 5V and 12V supply voltages. This drive converter is fitted with a standard control panel, which also serves as a programming module. The control panel has four keys and a single-line display that shows operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings.
