The Bosch HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a digital controller. It is used for control of compatible motors from Bosch and third-party vendors. Servo systems with HCS controllers and motors are used for commercial and industrial applications such as printing machines, handling systems, machine tools and food machines. HCS drive controllers should only be operated under the assembly and installation conditions specified in the documentation, in the specified position of normal use and under the specified ambient conditions. HCS01 drive controllers are designed for control cabinet mounting. They are mounted with two screws (M6×20; contained in the supplied accessory HAS09). Mounting the drive controller requires fixing screws to the back panel of the control cabinet, then attaching the drive controller to the screws, and finally fixing the screws with 6 Nm torque.

The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW can be mounted by attaching the left side, the right side or the backside to the mounting surface. Bosch recommends back side mounting. The left-hand or right-hand mounting can be used if the mounting clearance between control cabinet wall and control cabinet front is not sufficient for backside mounting. The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a controller that is designed for 200 to 500 Volts AC input. It delivers maximum 5 Amps output. The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW works with a standard control panel that does not support hot plug. Firmware for the controller is ordered separately. The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is available in an IP20 rated compact enclosure. Features available on the HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW include Multi-Ethernet communication and a multi-encoder interface. Two slots on the controller are available for additional hardware modules. One of these slots is dedicated for a safety module. Only qualified personnel should handle and operate the drive controller.
