One of the solutions is the IndraDrive Cs drive system family, to which the HCS01 drive converter series belongs. These drive converters are highly versatile and compact, with a wide range of functions. They are characterized by innovative multi-protocol support, a multi-encoder interface, and a power range from 100 W to 9 kW. Their areas of application include handling and mounting systems, packaging, and food machines, printing and paper processing machines, and machine tools.

The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is a drive converter designed for BASIC UNIVERSAL control sections. It has a Multi-Ethernet master communication module that supports SERCOS III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT. There is also a standard control panel with a single-line display that shows operating states, command and error diagnosis, and pending warnings in the device. Its mains connection voltage requirement is a three-phase AC voltage that ranges from 200V to 500V, and it has a maximum current of 5.0 A.

With its multi-encoder interface, the HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is compatible with the most common encoder types. It functions with encoders with 5V and 12V supply voltages and also the resolver. This drive converter has a compact design and can be mounted into control cabinets. When mounted in a control cabinet, it is cooled by a cooling airflow within the cabinet. This HCS model has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20, which means that it is touch-proof and resistant to dust and particles larger than 12mm. It should be operated at an ambient temperature of 0°C to 40°C, relative humidity of 5% to 95%, and set up at a maximum height of 1000m above sea level.
