Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the FCS01.1E-W0008-A-04-NNBV as part of the FCS Frequency Converters series. The unit is a frequency converter intended to modulate the supply frequency delivered to a three-phase induction motor so that machine speed can be matched to process requirements. By varying output frequency and voltage, the converter allows energy-efficient control of pumps, fans, and material-handling drives in automated equipment.

The converter is protected to IP20, so it must be installed inside a panel but needs no additional gaskets against touch or falling objects. A rated motor power of 1.5 kW indicates the maximum continuous shaft output it can control without derating. Its mains terminals accept 3 × AC 380–480 V, matching common industrial low-voltage networks, and the design supports the required three-phase topology through a rectifier and DC link. Five digital inputs and two relay outputs provide the control interface, and a 24 V DC supply powers the control electronics. An integrated brake transistor works with external braking resistors of at least 180 Ω to absorb regenerated energy during rapid deceleration. Recommended upstream protection is a 10 A fuse, and the feeding configuration means no regenerative power is returned to the mains.
