It operates from a 3 x AC 380 to 480 V source across three mains phases and is part of line 1, design version 1. Under nominal conditions, the converter delivers a rated output of 1.7 A to the motor while drawing 2.4 A from the supply. Short peaks up to 3 A are permitted during acceleration. System wiring must provide at least 50 µH of impedance per strand to limit current ripple, and input protection uses a slow-acting 10 A fuse. Cooling is handled by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which helps keep semiconductor temperatures stable in the compact housing. For dynamic deceleration, the built-in brake transistor requires a minimum external resistor of 390 Ω, and a factory-supplied 24 V DC logic supply maintains the control circuitry during mains interruptions. The converter uses a feeding power-supply configuration, so regenerated energy is directed to the shared DC link. Environmental ingress protection is limited to IP20, which makes cabinet installation mandatory.
