Product Description

The EFC5610-2K20-1P2-MDA-7P-NNNNN-L1NN is a low-cost frequency converter with decent speed control and an adaptable energy supply. The frequency converter from Bosch Rexroth can be extended or integrated to other machine components through a multi-Ethernet surface with SERCOS, Modbus/TCP, or Fieldbus interface. Parameterization can be done through the display panel provided in either an LED operator panel or LCD control panel. The EFC frequency converter is operated at a temperature ranging from -10°C to 45 °C. The recommended mounting altitude is less than or equal to 1,000m above sea level, and a de-rating elevation of 1 % per 100m (1,000 to 4,000m). The frequency converter has an IP20 protection class and is suitable for mounting into a control cabinet. DIN rails or screws can be used to mount the converter in the closed cabinet. When using screws, ensure that the frequency converter is tightly screwed on the mounting surface to avoid loosening up during operation.

The electrical connections for the EFC frequency converter should be connected through copper wires of 90  with XLPE or EPR insulation, according to IEC60364-5-52. If your power connection involves double cables, use two isolated earthing conductors to link the grounding cable as per the IEC61800-5-1. It is also advisable to use shielded cables when connecting the motor. Using the frequency converter in locations such as the USA and Canada, only use copper wires of 75 heat insulation as per UL 508C requirements.

The EFC frequency converter has both analog and digital frequency modes. The analog function is powered by an auxiliary supply with a rated capacity of 24 V (-10 to+15 %).  The digital output of the frequency converter has an output current of 100mA. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
