The DMD02.1 drive controllers have been designed for a specific category of AC servo motors. The DMD drive controllers are divided into four categories based on motor output. The model DMD02.1-W042N supports AC servo motors with ‘MMD042A’ configuration. The motor’s supply voltage is 230V and its output is 400W.
This drive controller features a 6-digit LED display at the top followed by three arrow keys. The left arrow key shifts to the upper digit, while Up and Down keys are meant for parameter selection and data change. Below these arrow keys are MODE and SET functions, then there is a rotatory switch to determine the axis number. Below these buttons lies a terminal block featuring connections for power supply and motor. At the right of the vertical terminal block, there are three connectors to connect PC, various user-specific signals, and rotatory encoder. The drive controller has various built-in functions, such as dynamic brake, automatic gain tuning, regeneration, control and monitor signal output, and others.
The DMD02.1-W042N drive has dimensions (including the mounting) of 50mm x 165mm x 130mm and it weighs approximately 1.2 kilograms. It runs on 230V input has a rated power output of 400W.
