The DMD01.1-W042N is a DMD series AC servo drive from the renowned manufacturer Bosch Rexroth. This servo drive operates along with the Indramat MMD servomotor and has a 540F capacitor with a stored energy of 17.82J. The device makes use of a natural cooling mechanism to avoid getting overheated during operation. It has a power rating of 400W. The wiring between the drive and the other equipment to which it is connected must be as short as possible. The diode used for driving a relay directly, using control output terminals should always be connected parallel to the relay, to prevent any damage to the driver. You get a one year warranty with this servo drive.
This servo drive gets set to Servo-ON state when the Servo-ON input and the control signal power supply’s COM-input are connected. The output signal of the driver is used for controlling the brake present in the motor. The driver can incorporate speed feed-forward function if a high-speed response is necessary. It also features several protective functions that cause the driver to trip if they are activated. When there is a trip, the seven-segment LED display on the front panel will highlight the error code corresponding to the cause of the error.
The overload protection function gets activated if the drive is used for a long time continuously with the output current more than the rated current. The drive comes equipped with a dynamic brake for emergency stop purposes. This brake gets activated when the protective function is triggered or the power supply is turned OFF. The servo drive can be used in torque control and speed control applications. The device has an accuracy of 5mV +/-2%. The motor with which the drive is used has a speed of 3,000rpm and a voltage rating of 230V.
