The Bosch DMA 85B 9101-D is a three-phase module for backplane mechanics. It is one of the components of a modular Servodyn-D inverter system. Servodyn inverters are also available in standalone configuration. These inverters systems are designed for use with synchronous and asynchronous motors. The DMA 85B 9101-D is an air cooled module with CANopen and CANrho interfaces and a standard encoder interface. Dimensions of the module are: 100 millimeters width and 521 millimeters height. Approximate weight of the DMA 85B 9101-D is 11.5 kilograms. At 4 kilohertz frequency the maximum current is 86 Amps for maximum overload conditions and 64 Amps for continuous overload conditions. At 4 kilohertz frequency the rated current is 22 Amps for maximum overload conditions and 47 Amps for continuous overload conditions.

At 8 kilohertz frequency the maximum current is 63 Amps for maximum overload conditions and 44 Amps for continuous overload conditions. At 8 kilohertz frequency the rated current is 12 Amps for maximum overload conditions and 31 Amps for continuous overload conditions. DC link voltage for the DMA 85B 9101-D is 670 Volts DC regulated / 715 Volts DC unregulated. The module draws 1.35 Amps from the power supply module of the Servodyn system and dissipates 380 Watts power during operation. To allow for unobstructed airflow and to enable easy module dismounting, a minimum clearance of 100 millimeters should be provided above, below and in front of the installed module. The DMA 85B 9101-D has environmental protection rating of IP 20 and is designed for mounting inside a switch cabinet with meets IP 54 protection rating.
