The DMA 45A 7301-D model is equipped with a 12-bit resolver encoder interface for actual position detection. The model comes with a digital closed-loop which is controlled by VeCon chip and CANrho protocol. The CANrho protocol can be used in conjunction with the rho3 and rho4 robot controls developed by Rexroth Indramat. The three-phase inverter module is capable of controlling the synchronous motors of type SF, SR, and linear, asynchronous motors of type DU and standard, and built-in motors. The three-phase inverter module when used together with synchronous motors provides high dynamics, speed setting range, synchronizing, and positioning accuracy. The suitable applications of the inverter system are textile machines, general automation systems, machine tools, and printing machines. The model comes in a modular design having a width and height of 50 mm and 521 mm. The model operates at the 670/715 VDC dc-link voltage generated by the three-phase AC 3 × 400 – 460 V power supply module. The model uses ambient air, with help of 2 built-in fans, for maintaining the temperature of the control cabinet.

The model DMA 45A 7301-D should be configured through the RS232 interface using the DSS-D commissioning and service system. The model comes in a standard variant and it belongs to the series of Servodyn-D. Servodyn-D inverter system consists of supply and axis modules as well as various interfaces and different functional capabilities. The model with a 4/8 kHz switching frequency operates at the continuous current of 23/15 A under continuous loading conditions.
