Bosch Indramat’s Servodyn-D series DMA 140D 6311-D is an air cooled three phase module for synchronous and asynchronous motors. The module is 200 mm wide and has PROFIBUS-DP interface with resolver encoder interface. It is available only as the standard variant capable of one axis positioning. DC link voltage for the DMA 140D 6311-D is 670 VDC regulated and 715 VDC non-regulated. Rated current for the unit is 42 A (max OL) and 87 A (max CL) at 4 kHz switching frequency. Maximum power loss in the switch cabinet for the DMA 140D 6311-D is 700 W.

The DMA 140D 6311-D has an optimal function temperature range of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius with continuous performance decrease until 55 C. The unit will automatically limit current to prevent any thermal damage to the semiconductors. Highest altitude under which the unit will perform according to rated data is 1000 m above sea level, above which performance will decrease up until a max limit of 3000 m.
