The DMA 085B 5111-D backplane module mechanics is for inverts cold modules. It provides backplane air cooling to the mechanics of the inverters with a maximum current of 2 kHz. The DMA 085B 5111-D version of the module has a 24V control signal and comes with the standard encoder interface. It has one axis positioning additional function and has the standard Rexroth manufactured module. It comes with the standard 2 RMB/DM standard cooling fans. The DMA 5111 model is a three-phase module for the asynchronous and synchronous motors and inverters.

This backplane module helps to cool down the inverters in the switch cabin as it falls in the Servodyn-D series, which requires to be mounted in the switch cabin under the protection category of IP54. The surrounding air should be clean and purified from all impurities for the optimized working of the DMA backplane module.  The DMA 085B 5111-D models have a single turn encoder STG with a resolution of 20 bits. It has 4096 absolute revolutions for the multi-turn encoder MTG with the resolver that comes in 12 bits resolution. The factor 4 incremental encoder has a 1MHz possible direct measuring connection with the SERCOS interface. These encoders have either Sine encoders with 20 factors that are equal to 50 kHz or cosine encoder with interpolation of 800 kHz.

The DC DMA 085B 5111-D is directly linked to the inverters via DC linkage of cables. The 670 VDC link voltages are required for the regulated modules and 715 VDC link voltage is used for the non-regulated modules. The maximum current of the module is 64-86arms as per OL to CL with the ambient temperature of 0°C to 45°C with the derating of 1.25A/K at +45°C to +55°C. The DMA modules come with the protection category of IP 20. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
