The Servodyn-D inverter system is used with a variety of industrial motors including asynchronous motors, synchronous linear motors, synchronous motors type SR, SF synchronous motors, built in motors, DY asynchronous motors, and asynchronous standard motors. The inverter system has a module based structure and comes fully integrated with a redundant two-channel safety structure. The system has been optimized for maximum power output and supports cold module engineering because of the backplane modules. The inverter system meets the highest requirements for positional accuracy, speed setting range, and synchronizing. The DM 8K 5111-D is a three phase module that can output a maximum of 35 A current. The device has a DC link connection through busbars and comes with a supply module that has an external and internal ballast switch and an integrated start-up circuit.
The DM 8K 5111-D has 430 mm height and a 50 mm width. This three-phase module comes with the state of the art Serial Realtime Communication System interface. Utilizing a ring structure of optical fibers, the interface enables high speed communication. The interface also enables the processing of actual values and setpoints in one cycle. This module can be operated at a 4 kHz and 8 kHz frequency. At 4 kHz, the device has a 10 A maximum current and a 2.1 A rated current under maximum overload. At a 9 kHz frequency, these values change to 10 A and 1.1 A respectively. The system operates on a 670 V DC link voltage and uses a 12 bits Resolver for resolution of actual position values. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
