The DM 15K 8001-D is a fully digital inverter system which is manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. This drive inverter is designed to control the speed, current, and position with a digital closed loop. This digital drive inverter is made for industrial purposes wherein there is no direct connection to low voltage public power supply, and the connection is provided to the medium or high voltage system via a transformer. Before enabling the drive inverter to perform its function, it is required to check that the machines in which it is connected match the requirements of the machinery directive (98/ 37/ EEC, 98/ 79/ EEC) and the EMC directive (89/ 336/ EEC). There are multiple benefits of the DM 15K 8001-D, such as three-phase modules of the same construction with IGBT output stages for brushless asynchronous and synchronous motors, position control in three-phase modules, direct power supply, compact design for 300 mm control cabinet depth, and backplane modules for cold engineering.
