The DM 15K 6111-D is a servo drive module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DM Servo Drives series. Designed as a supply and control unit for one-axis positioning tasks, it links a motion controller with a synchronous or induction motor in industrial automation lines. The device regulates current and voltage to the motor while exchanging setpoints with higher-level PLCs over a PROFIBUS network.

On the control side, the drive draws 0.89 A from its 24 V logic supply, ensuring low standby overhead. Power conversion is based on a shared DC link of 670/715 VDC, so the module can be integrated into multi-axis cabinets without individual rectifiers. During peak modulation, the unit dissipates up to 121 W, so forced convection or a cold plate is recommended for continuous high-load service. The housing occupies only 50 mm of rack width, while the heat sink and bus bars keep the overall mass at 6.0 kg, which helps with installation in compact cabinets. The narrow profile also leaves clearance for airflow between neighboring drives and permits dense multi-axis layouts without additional spacers.
