The DM 15K 4101-D drive module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DM Servo Drives series. It conditions high-voltage DC from a shared supply and feeds three-phase current to connected servo motors, following an analog setpoint sent by the machine controller. By executing current loops at 8 kHz, the module supplies precise torque and velocity control for axes used in packaging lines, pick-and-place units, and other motion platforms that demand fast dynamic response.

The internal control electronics draw only 0.89 A from the 24 V service supply, keeping cabinet auxiliary power low. Energy for the power stage is stored on a DC link that operates at a regulated 670 VDC during normal operation and can climb to 715 VDC when the regulator is bypassed, giving headroom for braking energy. Resolution of the incremental interface reaches 16 bits, while the STG and MTG ports provide 20-bit and 32-bit word lengths respectively, giving the drive enough position granularity for very fine encoder-based motion.
