The DKS01.1-W050A-RL03-01-FW drive is a DKS series Bosch Rexroth servo drive. The product features a main contactor that cannot be activated if the ZKS input and Bb1 contacts are in open status. The device must be connected to the MDD series servomotor using only the manufacturer’s motor power cable. This cable features a single wire for the ground connection, three wires to assist in motor power connection as well as two separately shielded wire pairs for the motor brake and monitoring the temperature of the motor. The unit can be connected to grounded three-phase power systems without an isolation transformer. The drive can be dispatched safely to any location.

The power system connection for the power section of this servo drive is protected using fuses or circuit breakers. The mains line of the product must not be fitted with a ground-fault current operated circuit breaker. This device can be controlled by dynamic breaking action. The breaking renders high reliability at a low cost and stops the connected motor and drive instantly. The configuration label is attached to the front panel of the unit. The drive has another label attached to its side that gives service-related information. The product must be transported with the help of shock-absorbing support if there are chances of vibration or heavy shock during transit.

This digital servo drive is integrated with a power supply. The basic unit of the device is connected using the S1-DKS1 connector kit. The product weighs approximately 11kg. It has a Class C insulation according to DIN 570 110 specifications. The drive can operate at a maximum temperature of 55°C with derated data. The unit executes the pre-programmed error reaction when there is a drive, power, or system fault. The command interface card helps in establishing the connection between the control and the drive.
