Product Description

DKCXX.3-040-7-FW is an EcoDrive series drive controller from Bosch Rexroth. It is used as a servo drive with integrated position control. Communication between the controller and higher-level control takes place over a Profibus network. Up to 64 positioning blocks can be stored in the drive. They can be selected from a PLC using the PROFIBUS-DP interface. The positioning block is executed independently. All position, speed and acceleration data can be weighted independent of axis kinematics in a rotary or translatory manner. The drive is equipped with extensive diagnosis capabilities. The drive’s rated output current is 40 Amps. The DC bus voltage is 700 Volts DC. A firmware specifying the functions of the drive must be ordered separately. Dimensions of the controller are 65 x 333 x 210 millimeters. It is designed for vertical mounting.

Bosch recommends minimum 80 millimeters spacing on the top and bottom sides of the mounted controller. The cooling air inlet is located at the bottom side of the unit. The warm air outlet is at the top side of the unit. The DKCXX.3-040-7-FW requires 3-phase AC input at 380 to 480 Volts AC. The acceptable input voltage tolerance is ±10%. The main frequency must be between 50 and 60 Hertz. The total power dissipation without bleeder dissipation is 180 Watts. The permitted ambient temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Output of the DKCXX.3-040-7-FW derates between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius. Bosch does not permit controller use above 55 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The permitted site elevation range is 0 to 1000 meters. Output of the DKCXX.3-040-7-FW derates between 1000 and 5000 meters. Bosch does not permit controller use above 5000 meters site elevation.
