The DDS03.2 drive controller has a continuous rated current of 12 amps and should be housed in an exterior-protected and well-ventilated control cabinet. The drive controller is not completely liquid-proof due to its IP20 protection level, however, it does give some protection against dust. The communication card is inserted into the U1 slot of the drive controller, and the firmware module is inserted into the U5 slot. The DDS03.2 drive controller is equipped with both digital servo and resolver feedback, and the working environment must be free of dust, turbulence, and dirt. This type is durable enough to withstand harsh working circumstances, including extreme temperatures, exposure to dampness, and vibration.

The model DDS03.2-W030-BE41-01-FW was created in a modular form and contains a communication module with a SERCOS interface.
