This controller is a modular device that is delivered as a fully configured device that is made-up of a basic unit, plugin modules, software modules, and the firmware. The controller is intended to be used with Indramat motor designs such as the MDD, MKD and LAR alternating current(AC) motors. The combination of this controller with any of these compatible motors from a rapid response drive system that is suited for use in machine tool, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, and well as robotics and handling machines. The controller is also very easy to handle, it is delivered with a documentation containing full instructions on the installation, commissioning, and general operation. The DDS03.1-W050-0 industrial drive controller meets the IP20 protection class, it also features an internal air blower that helps to dissipate the excess heat generated in the motor housing during operation.
