The DDS02.2-W200-BE24-02-FW is a rapid response servo drive that is used for advanced motion control applications in areas with dynamic motion requirements. Motors belonging to the MDD, MKD, and LAR series are frequently used in conjunction with the system. The drive controller has been powered by a resolver device that works together with a built-in closed-loop system. The resolver records the motor’s operational parameters and detects errors between programmed and actual values of the system. The resolver is very sensitive and detects the slightest deviation from the programmed values. It then sends sinusoidal signals to the closed-loop system that re-adjusts the input values. In addition to position and speed control, the DDS02.2-W200-BE24-02-FW is capable of controlling the main spindle drive of motors.

The DDS02.2-W200-BE24-02-FW can be extended by the use of multiple add-ons. The add-ons are available in the form of additional plug-in cards that can be inserted in the spare slots provided in the slots. This enhances the drive controller's capabilities and enables the execution of specific functions. The system is compatible with a summing interface module that is used for applying additional command values for the differential input at the analog interface. The system runs on a 200 A peak current at a continuous current value of 65 A. The system comes with an IP 20 standard ingress protection. The servo drive is protected from damage caused by objects less than 12.5 mm in size. A suitable temperature is maintained inside the control cabinet by use if heat technology that has been integrated with this device.
