The Bosch Rexroth DDS02.2-W050-BE10-01-FW is a drive controller. It is used for motor control in industrial and commercial applications. The typical applications for servo systems comprised of DDS controllers and compatible motors include textiles, robotics and handling machines. The DDS02.2 series includes controllers rated for 15 Amps, 30 Amps, 50 Amps, 100 Amps and 200 Amps. The DDS02.2-W050-BE10-01-FW is rated for 50 Amps. The DDS02.2 series includes controllers with SERCOS, Interbus, Analog or single axis positioning command control modules. The DDS02.2-W050-BE10-01-FW comes with a SERCOS command module. The DD02.2 series includes controllers designed for heat technology (100% heat dissipation inside cabinet) or cold technology (20% heat dissipation inside cabinet). The DDS02.2-W050-BE10-01-FW is designed for heat technology. This design leads to controller heat dissipation inside the cabinet. The optimal ambient temperature for controller operation is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.

The DDS02.2-W050-BE10-01-FW supports both digital servo feedback and resolver feedback. A regulated power supply that delivers 24 Volts DC output can be used to power multiple DDS controllers. The controller DC bus voltage is 300 Volts.  The maximum peak current / continuous current ratings are 50 Amps / 50 Amps. The peak current / maximum continuous current ratings are 50 Amps / 50 Amps. The current consumption of signal processing devices is 15 milliamps at 15 Volts DC, 150 milliamps at -15 Volts DC and 500 milliamps at 24 Volts DC. Current consumption for resolver feedback is 25 milliamps at 5 Volts DC, 5 milliamps at -15 Volts DC and 0 milliamps at 24 Volts DC. Current consumption for digital servo feedback is 0 milliamps at 15 Volts DC, 0 milliamps at -15 Volts DC and 40 milliamps at 24 Volts DC.
