The DDS02.1-W050-DA07-00 is a drive controller - basic unit. The drive controller is modular in design which makes it possible to flexibly combine AC servo and main drives to create a compact drive package which uses one supply unit. The DDS02.1-W050-DA07-00 is a rapid-response drive. Typical applications include handling machines, food packaging, textiles. The drive controller must be stored in a dry, dust and shock free environment within a permissible temperature range of -30 to +85 degrees Celsius. Shock-damping supports should be used during transportation if necessary. Endangered components such as plugin modules must be stored or transported in special packaging. The drive controller can be connected to all INDRAMAT supply units with a regulated DC 24V voltage. If high or interference voltage test of the electrical equipment of the machine is to be conducted, then all connections must be clamped off or removed entirely to avoid damage to the electronic components (permissible per VDE 0113). The drive controller components are tested in accordance with the VDE 0160 high-voltage test.

The current rating for the DDS02.1-W050-DA07-00 is 50 Watts. It has a digital servo motor feedback connection. It is connected to the AC motors via a three-phase current o motor power cable with maximum length of 75m if INDRAMAT cables are used. The control section has a connection slot for RS-232 interface VT-100 and an ANALOG communication module interface.  The DDS02.1-W050-DA07-00 has an approximate mass of 7.5 kilograms and a power dissipation of 260 Watts. The control section should be operated at a maximum height of 1000 meters above mean sea level and at ambient temperatures between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius. If the temperature exceeds this, the specification needs to be re-evaluated with a correction factor. The maximum permissible relative humidity is 95%.
