The DDS02.1-W025-DA14-01-FW is a new generation industrial drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the operation of synchronous and industrial motors used to generate kinetic energy for industrial production systems. This drive controller is a modular device that is designed according to the IP20 protection class; it is a very flexible controller that is perfectly suitable for a wide number of industrial production machines such as paper converting machines, grinding machines, packaging machines, and lots more. Under ideal operating conditions, this drive controller maintains efficiency as high as 95 percent without experiencing any major mechanical breakdown. The DDS02.1-W025-DA14-01-FW industrial drive controller is delivered to the industrial operator as a fully configured system containing plug-in modules, software modules, and a command communication module; these modules are integrated into slots U1 to U5 present on the basic unit of the drive controller.

The DDS02.1-W025-DA14-01-FW industrial drive controller is not supplied with a firmware module; this has to be specially ordered by the industrial operator depending on the industrial application for which the controller is required. The rated input current required by this drive controller for optimum operation is about 25 amperes, while the rated DC bus voltage is about 300 volts. This industrial drive controller connects to the industrial motor through two major electrical cables, the power cable, and the motor feedback cable; these cables must be wired separately from each other to prevent electrical interference.

The DDS02.1-W025-DA14-01-FW industrial drive controller via forced ventilation through the use of external air, to facilitate this temperature regulation system, a minimum clearance of about 100 millimeters should be observed during the integration of the servo drive into the industrial servo system.
