The DDS02.1-A100-DS22-00/S002 digital drive system is a modular device designed by the Rexroth Indramat to serve as a power drive for servo motors. It is coded with programs that control given hardware and allows industrial motors to operate in a broad range for industrial production systems. It functions as a reliable control system for various models of industrial servo motors, with which it provides highly controlled speed for applications in machine tools, plant machines, and so on. It is designed to be inserted or placed in an external control cabinet, which is designed according to the IP 54 to prevent the ingression of solid extrinsic materials and liquid substances.

The DDS02.1-A100-DS22-00/S002 motor drive is an electrical drive system that uses digital servo feedback, which transmits feedback responses with a high transmission rate for controlling the speed, torque, and direction of an electric motor connected to it. It also uses a SERCOS interface, a real-time serial communication system that sets a digital interface with servo motors in connection with it for rapid, effective response.
