Product Description

Bosch has developed a large series of industrial automation equipment. The company provides solutions to various automation problems by its products like drive controllers, servo motors, frequency converters, and professional power tools.

The DDS02.1-A100-DS13-01-FW/S002 model is the 2nd series tool of Rexroth Indramat. The controller controls the speed and position of the shaft through its digital servo feedback. The real-time communication between the controller and the motor is developed by the SERCOS communication interface through an optical fiber cable. The firmware of this controller should be ordered as a separate sub-item and it contains the operating software of the unit. The DDS02.1 drive controller has a cooling technology that keeps the airflow direction out of the cabinet. The cold technology takes heat from the controller cabinet and dissipates it to the surrounding air. The DDS02.1 drive controller makes an electrical connection from the dc-link voltage of 300 VDC with 15% augmentation. The unit operates at the nominal current of 100 A. The peak current consumed by the controller is 90 A whereas the continuous current requirement of the unit is 80 A. General the controller consumes the current of 200 mA at ±15 V and 1100 mA at +24 V. The basic unit utilizes the current of 150 mA at ±15 V and 500 mA at +24 V whereas, the feedback module consumes the current of 0 mA at ±15V and 40 mA at +24 V.
