The DDS series of the modern drive controllers by Bosch Rexroth come in robust design and latest technical features which function to solve industrial automation challenges. Bosch strives to provide feasible solutions for typical applications such as printing and packaging machines, textile machinery and robotics. The DDS 3.1-W050-DS12-01 device is a part of the drive control series introduced by Rexroth Indramat. The DDS3.1 comes with IP20 degree of protection which provides protection from extrinsic objects of size exceeding 50mm. Its housing does not provide protection against penetration by water, intentional accessing by hand. The mounting conditions include IP10 rated housing or control cabinet. The unit is at advantage with the housing design optimized for heat conduction outside the control cabinet saving the cost of additional cooling fan. The connection point X4 is designated for motor feedback connection. The AC motors MDD, MKD, LAR, LAF, LSF, 2AD, ADF, and 1MB create a rapid-response automated system when used in conjunction with DDS drive controllers. The DDS3.1 drive controller are particularly suited for use in sophisticated machines like printing, textile and handling. The model DDS 3.1-W050-DS12-01 is delivered in a configured state by Rexroth Indramat. A configured drive controller is comprised of hardware and a firmware.
