Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N200A-DS63-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It is Series 1, Version 2, and weighs 22 kg. In automated plant equipment, the unit provides closed-loop power conversion so AC servo motors can follow motion commands with high accuracy and fast response. The drive serves as the power and control stage between the machine controller and the motor, making it suitable for coordinated motion in handling systems, machine tools, and other industrial axes. Communication with higher-level controls is handled through a SERCOS command configuration for synchronized drive operation.
The drive delivers a continuous motor current of 200 A and places a line demand of 22.5 kVA on the supply. Its internal power stage switches at 4 kHz, which supports stable current regulation and precise response through the SERCOS interface command module. Mechanical output reaches a continuous 7.5 kW and can rise momentarily to 33 kW during brief acceleration or load peaks. Standard cooling draws ambient air across the housing, while the IP65 enclosure helps protect the electronics from dust and water jets. Motor feedback is handled through digital servo feedback, which supports accurate speed and position control inside the drive. Bleeder circuitry dissipates 0.25 kW continuously, general power loss is specified as 500 W for thermal calculations, acoustic output is standard for the 100 A to 200 A range, and the function code is 01.
Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C. During deceleration, the bleeder can absorb peak power of 40 kW, and the drive can accept returned energy of up to 20 kWs without external absorbers. These limits help manage regenerative energy on stopping cycles, maintain stable DC-bus conditions during braking, and support applications where high-inertia loads must be slowed quickly without overloading the drive. This is useful on cycles with repeated starts and stops.
