Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N200A-DS45-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It receives motion commands through a SERCOS interface and uses digital servo feedback to regulate current, speed, and position for synchronous motors in automated handling, packaging, and machining systems. This arrangement lets the drive deliver controlled three-phase output while maintaining stable axis response under changing load conditions. Because the control and power sections are integrated in one housing, the unit is well suited for decentralized drive installations where a compact machine-mounted solution is preferred.
The power stage supplies a continuous motor current of 45 A, which supports sustained operation under substantial load. For rapid acceleration and other short transient demands, it can deliver up to 200 A peak current. Line-side demand reaches 22.5 kVA, and internal switching at 4 kHz balances dynamic response with manageable heat generation. A continuous bleeder channel rated at 0.25 kW dissipates excess DC-bus energy during normal deceleration, while standard cooling removes heat produced by the power section. PWM control manages the output waveform and helps direct regenerated energy away from the DC bus during braking events.
Energy that cannot be dissipated immediately can be stored briefly up to 20 kWs, which helps prevent DC-link overvoltage during high-inertia stops. The enclosure is rated IP65, so the drive resists dust ingress and low-pressure water jets in exposed machine installations. Operation is permitted at installation altitudes up to 1000 m, making the unit suitable for a wide range of industrial sites. The drive is Series 1 with Function Code Version 01, and its noise emission falls within the standard range for 100 A to 200 A drives.
