The DDC01.2-N200A-DS45-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. As a power stage for synchronous axes, it converts three-phase supply energy into controlled motor current and exchanges motion commands over an integrated SERCOS interface. The device regulates speed, position, and torque in automated production lines, and its IP65 housing allows mounting directly on machinery without an additional control cabinet.

The drive draws 22.5 kVA from the mains and delivers 200 A to the motor windings. Current is switched at a carrier frequency of 4 kHz, providing fine voltage resolution while keeping switching losses within limits. Excess DC-bus energy is managed by an internal bleeder that can dissipate 0.25 kW during continuous deceleration so the link remains stable. For transient overloads, the inverter sustains a short-term current of 90 A, allowing extra torque without overheating. Standard cooling removes the power loss, and acoustic output is rated as standard for the 100 A to 200 A range.

In dynamic cycles, the resistor can momentarily absorb 40 kW, and the control section limits returned energy to 20 kWs to protect the bus capacitors. At least 300 mm of free space is required around the housing, and the standard cooling path maintains component temperatures without external chillers.
