Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N200A-DS24-03-FW is a unit in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It works as a closed-loop power stage that converts incoming line power into controlled three-phase output for servo motors in automated production cells. The drive is built as Series 1, Version 2 hardware, and it operates with motors that provide digital servo feedback. This arrangement supports coordinated axis control in fieldbus-based motion systems.
Control data enter the drive through the SERCOS Interface, a fiber-optic command module that synchronizes position loops with other axes. During deceleration, the internal bleeder dissipates up to 0.25 kW continuously and can absorb short surges of 40 kW, which helps prevent DC-bus overvoltage. For transient acceleration, the inverter can deliver a peak motor current of 200 A, and its continuous output current is also 200 A. Electrical input demand reaches 22.5 kVA, and normal operation releases about 500 W of heat through the built-in cooling airflow. The controller can absorb 20 kWs of regenerated energy, and the noise emission is standard for the 100 A to 200 A range. Standard cooling supports full load at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C when the installation altitude does not exceed 1000 m.
The enclosure has an IP 65 rating, allowing installation directly on machinery without a separate cabinet while protecting internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets. Power devices switch at 4 kHz, a carrier frequency that helps limit current ripple while keeping semiconductor heating within a normal operating range. Despite its energy handling capability, the housing weighs only 22 kg, which helps when the unit is mounted on a machine frame or panel. The internal cooling path is built into the housing, so direct machine mounting does not eliminate airflow management inside the drive.
