The DDC01.2-N200A-DL05-01-FW drive is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It combines power electronics with a single-axis positioning command module so it can execute indexed moves on one mechanical axis. Digital servo feedback from the connected motor closes the velocity and position loops for stable motion control. Because the positioning functions are integrated, the drive can manage stored moves locally instead of relying on continuous external setpoint updates. This arrangement suits material-handling, packaging, and machining equipment that needs repeatable standalone axis control.

In operation, the drive demands 22.5 kVA of apparent power and can supply a continuous 200 A to the motor. That output supports a mechanical load of 7.5 kW during normal operation. This current capacity is suitable for servo axes that require strong acceleration and stable torque under load. During deceleration, the internal bleeder dissipates 0.25 kW continuously, and it can absorb 40 kW for short stopping events before external braking is required. The DC link can also accept 20 kWs of regenerated energy during short braking intervals. Motion sequences are stored in an internal memory of 3000 blocks, and control is handled through Function Code 05 with Version 01.

The drive is approved for ambient temperatures up to +55 °C and for installation heights up to 1000 m without derating, provided cooling airflow remains unobstructed. A continuous power loss of 500 W must be removed from the housing, so cabinet layouts need enough space for heat to leave the unit. The enclosure is rated IP65, which helps protect internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets. Inside the power section, the inverter switches at 4 kHz to regulate motor current and support smooth response. The unit is Series 1 and Version 2, and the sealed housing is suitable for installations where airborne dust or washdown exposure is present.
