Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N150A-DS47-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Within a motion system, it converts rectified mains power into regulated three-phase voltage that follows velocity and position commands, serving as the core power stage for synchronous and asynchronous servo motors on precision machine axes. By combining power electronics, a signal processor, and fieldbus communication in one enclosure, the drive enables fast closed-loop axis control and quick response to command changes in machining centers, pick-and-place gantries, automated transfer lines, and other production equipment.
Its output bridge is rated for a continuous current of 150 A, so motors can be accelerated without derating. Diagnostic values are available through an analog monitor channel that swings over ±10 V and supports loads up to 4 mA, allowing direct connection to PLC analog cards. The internal logic draws from an external supply of 24 VDC at 150 mA, isolating the control circuits from mains disturbances. Motion telegrams reach the drive through the SERCOS interface command module, giving deterministic real-time bandwidth. An IP65 housing allows mounting outside a cabinet, while convection cooling removes switch-loss heat. The DC link becomes operational once 200 V is present, and a bleeder resistor engages at 75% of nominal to dissipate regenerated energy.
The drive operates at ambient temperatures up to +55 °C without output reduction and tolerates relative humidity up to 95 % when condensation is avoided. Standard performance is maintained at elevations up to 1000 m, after which thermal loading must be recalculated. The power electronics tolerate line surges and regenerative events until the DC bus reaches 745 V, and protection circuits trip beyond that point to protect the semiconductor devices. Maximum absolute humidity is 25 g/m³, the noise emission is standard for the 100 A to 200 A range, and feedback cable lengths can reach 75 m where longer routing is required.
