Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N100A-R is an intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It acts as the regulated interface between a motion controller and a three-phase servo motor, supplying controlled current for precise electromechanical actuation. The drive also dissipates excess energy produced during deceleration and executes embedded positioning loops for automated machinery. These functions support accurate control of motor torque, speed, and position during repetitive machine cycles.
The drive can supply a rated phase current of 100 A and maintain a continuous output current of 35 A during normal operation. Short acceleration periods can draw up to 70 A before thermal protection intervenes. The line-side power demand is 18 kVA, which must be considered when sizing feeder cables and protective devices. Its power devices switch at 4 kHz, balancing current ripple with switching losses. The unit supports a continuous mechanical load of 6 kW and directs 0.25 kW through its bleeder resistor during routine braking. The product is Series 1 and Version 2. Resolver feedback provides the motor position signals required for closed-loop operation.
Standard cooling removes up to 500 W of internal heat under full load. The sealed housing has an IP65 protection rating, which prevents dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets. The drive can operate at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and at installation elevations up to 1,000 m without derating. Permitted atmospheric conditions include 95% relative humidity and an absolute humidity of 25 g/m³. Resolver signals can travel as far as 75 m, allowing separation between the motor and drive cabinet. During emergency stops, the bleeder network can handle up to 20 kW and absorb as much as 10 kWs of regenerated energy. Noise emission falls within the standard band for drives rated from 100 A to 200 A. The unit weighs 22 kg, which should be considered when selecting mounting surfaces and cabinet supports.
