Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N100A-DS68-00-FW is a servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It combines power conversion and axis control so a connected motor can follow coordinated torque, speed, and position commands in automated production lines and material-handling systems. The modular platform can be adapted with fieldbus options for different machine layouts. It uses a SERCOS Interface command module, which supports cyclic communication with the motion controller at a pulse frequency of 4 kHz. This communication path carries setpoints and returns drive status in real time during axis movement.
During continuous operation, the drive supplies 35 A to the motor and can deliver 6 kW of mechanical output. Internal power loss is limited to 500 W, which helps keep thermal loading within the intended operating range. Regenerated energy from decelerating loads is absorbed by a bleeder circuit rated for 0.25 kW continuously and up to 20 kW during short peaks. The maximum regenerated energy per event is 10 kWs. Position information is returned through digital servo feedback for closed-loop control, and the unit uses the standard noise emission category for the 100 A to 200 A class.
The housing is sealed to IP65, so standard airflow across the finned rear plate can cool the unit while keeping dust and spray away from the electronics. Operation is permitted without derating at ambient temperatures up to +55 °C and at mounting heights of up to 1000 m above sea level. Connection to the supply requires 18 kVA, and the drive supports a peak current of 100 A for short acceleration demands. The current and supply values describe the electrical load presented to the incoming power system during operation. The unit weighs 22 kg. It uses a version 2 control board with series 1 hardware.
