Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N100A-DS50-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. With a SERCOS interface command module and digital servo feedback, the unit links motion controllers to AC servo motors in industrial automation. It adjusts pulse-width-modulated output to maintain commanded velocity and position, delivering continuous mechanical load support of 6 kW to actuators used in packaging, printing, and material-handling axes. This closed-loop arrangement lets the controller send motion commands while the drive corrects motor behavior in real time. The unit is in Series 1 and Version 2.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x 220/230 V AC at line frequencies of 50/60 Hz. Under those conditions, it supports a rated output of 100 A, while the converter section draws up to 18 kVA from the mains. A pulse-width modulation carrier of 4 kHz shapes the motor voltage, and cooling air moves across the heat sink to limit internal power loss to 500 W. The housing has an IP65 rating that helps keep dust and water spray away from the electronics. Its three-phase input fits common industrial power distribution used with servo systems.
During braking, energy is routed to an internal bleeder that dissipates 0.25 kW continuously and tolerates surges up to 20 kW, while the associated capacitor bank can store up to 10 kWs before the resistor is triggered. This arrangement helps manage regenerated energy during rapid deceleration or repeated stop-and-go motion. The unit weighs 22 kg, and its noise emission is categorized as standard for the 100 A to 200 A rating group. Operation is permitted up to 1000 m elevation without derating. The housing can be mounted directly on machine structures that are designed to support this load.
