Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N100A-DS50-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. Classified in the company’s Product Group of digital intelligent servo drives, it powers and controls permanent-magnet servo motors used in industrial automation lines. By converting incoming three-phase energy into regulated drive power and by executing axis commands, the unit becomes the link between a plant-level controller and a motor, enabling precise positioning, speed regulation, and controlled energy dissipation during braking.
The drive supplies a rated current of 100 A, sustaining continuous motor torque without thermal derating, while the same current is available momentarily for acceleration peaks. Its DC bus withstands overvoltage up to 745 V. An internal bleeder dissipates regenerated energy at 0.25 kW continuously and 20 kW for short bursts, preventing DC link rise. Mains demand is 18 kVA, and 500 W of that input appear as heat removed by the standard cooling airflow. Diagnostic terminals provide 4 mA with a tolerance of ±10 V, allowing external status monitors. Standard noise emission is maintained for the 100 A–200 A current class. Additional parameters include peak current equal to the rated value, power loss of 500 W, and compliant standard cooling architecture.
A SERCOS interface command module exchanges real-time data with the controller, and firmware—ordered separately—aligns application code with Series 1, Version 2 hardware. Installation flexibility is supported by a motor cable reach of 75 m and feedback over Digital Servo Feedback. The housing carries a protection rating of IP65, allowing use to the documented ceiling of 1000 m elevation. The drive can absorb 10 kWs of regenerated energy before bleeder limits engage, while total mass of 22 kg permits single-person cabinet mounting.
