The DDC01.2-N100A-DS47-00-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive in the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It combines power electronics, control logic, and line filtering in one housing to operate brushless servomotors on packaging, handling, and machining equipment. A removable command module provides SERCOS interface connectivity, allowing the drive to exchange real-time position and diagnostic data with a PLC or CNC controller. This arrangement supports closed-loop speed and torque regulation on a single axis without requiring separate external control hardware for the main drive functions.

Under continuous duty, the inverter supplies 35 A to the motor and supports a rated output of 100 A for higher-demand operating conditions. The switching transistors run at a carrier frequency of 4 kHz, which helps shape current delivery and keep acoustic output within the standard 100 A to 200 A class. The internal bleeder dissipates 0.25 kW continuously, handles 500 W of component power loss, and the DC link can store 10 kWs before discharge. The drive requires 18 kVA from the line supply, and the enclosure has an IP65 rating for use near machinery exposed to dust or spray. Cooling is standard, with internal airflow sized for the rated load.

Continuous mechanical output is limited to 6 kW, while the bleeder can absorb braking peaks up to 20 kW without exceeding its thermal capacity. The unit has a mass of 22 kg, so the mounting structure must support that load during operation. Rated service conditions allow ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and installation heights up to 1000 m, with output derating required above those limits.
