Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N100A-DS46-02-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The device converts three-phase supply power into regulated armature current for synchronous motors, allowing precise speed and torque control in automated transfer lines, gantry axes, and process equipment. Its integrated control electronics execute positioning tasks locally while exchanging commands with higher-level controllers over the factory network. This arrangement lets the drive handle motion functions close to the axis while remaining coordinated with the rest of the machine.
At the control layer, the drive uses a SERCOS interface command module that provides real-time fiber-optic communication and accepts digital servo feedback from the motor. For continuous duty, it supplies 35 A of phase current and delivers a mechanical output of 6 kW, while standard cooling removes about 500 W of internal heat. The mains supply must provide 18 kVA, and a 0.25 kW bleeder resistor dissipates regenerated energy stored in the 10 kWs buffer. Current is modulated at 4 kHz, limiting harmonic ripple, and the electronics are housed in an enclosure rated IP65 to block dust and low-pressure water jets. The rated current ceiling is 100 A, and the noise emission is standard for the 100 A to 200 A class. Digital servo feedback allows the controller to maintain commanded speed and position during changing load conditions.
Dynamic operation is supported by a short-term output of 70 A, which raises shaft power to 12 kW. For rapid acceleration, the inverter can momentarily deliver 17 kW of mechanical output, and the braking circuit can absorb up to 20 kW of instantaneous bleeder power. This supports repeated acceleration and deceleration in high-response motion applications. The drive is series 1 and version 2. With a mass of 22 kg, the unit can be mounted directly on machinery where drive weight must be considered.
