Product Description:
The DDC01.2-N100A-DS46-00-FW belongs to the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This digital intelligent servo drive combines a drive inverter, bleeder circuit, and motion-control logic in one enclosure. It interfaces with higher-level controllers through a SERCOS command module and interprets position data through integrated digital servo feedback. In automated cells, the drive converts mains power into regulated three-phase output that follows motion profiles for synchronous and asynchronous servo motors. That integrated layout keeps power conversion, braking, and control functions together in a compact housing.
Under standard cooling, the drive supports a continuous mechanical load of 6 kW, while its bleeder dissipates 0.25 kW of regenerative energy continuously. During dynamic braking, the same circuit accepts a 20 kW peak. The power section draws 18 kVA from the mains and loses 500 W as heat. A pulse-width modulation frequency of 4 kHz produces rated and peak motor currents of 100 A while supporting stable drive operation. These operating values suit applications that require repeated acceleration and deceleration with controlled braking energy handling.
The aluminum housing has an IP 65 protection rating, so it can be mounted outside a sealed cabinet if the ambient temperature does not exceed +55 °C. Energy regenerated from decelerating loads is capped at 10 kWs, and excess energy is routed through the bleeder until the line current falls to 70 A or less. This helps manage braking energy during deceleration and supports stable thermal behavior during repeated motion cycles. The sealed enclosure also helps protect internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets. Placement outside a sealed cabinet can also simplify machine layouts where the drive is installed close to the motor.
